Ask three shops and you'll hear three wildly different CCTV prices. Here's an honest breakdown of what installation actually costs in Nepal in 2026, what should be included in the quote, and the questions that separate a fair deal from an expensive mistake.
Our installation rate is Rs. 1,000 per camera — against a typical market rate of around Rs. 1,500 per camera. That covers the full job, not just mounting a camera on a wall: a free on-site survey with a camera layout plan, HD/IP cameras with night vision, configuration, mobile viewing on your phone, a walkthrough, and a full one-year service warranty.
The per-camera model keeps pricing transparent. A two-camera home entrance setup and an eight-camera shop quote scale the same way, and you approve the fixed total before any work begins.
Three things move the final number more than anything else:
A fair CCTV quote in Nepal should always include the survey and layout plan, mounting and wiring, DVR/NVR configuration with recording schedules, mobile app setup tested with you present, and at least a one-year service warranty. If any of these are missing or vague, ask before agreeing.
Our installations end with a walkthrough: you learn to replay footage, save clips, and check cameras from your phone. A system nobody in the house can operate is money wasted.
Get the camera count justified on a layout, not a feeling — every camera should cover a named spot (gate, entrance, cash counter, parking). Ask whether mobile viewing setup and the service warranty are included or extra. And beware quotes far below market: they usually mean no-name cameras with no night vision and no one to call when they fail.
